One thing I'd like to point out for the future. If you are going to get parts at the parts house, make sure you tell them it's a 1984. 85 and 86 production updates didn't apply to the CUCV lineup even though you might have a 1986 truck.
M116A3 is simply the chassis number. All M101A3 trailers were built on M116A3 chassis. In your case you have an A2 body on the A3 chassis. Inside measurement between the fenderwells is 45" on yours, the A3 is 55".
What prompted the removal of the right quarter? I agree, the 33" tire fits with no lift but with 2 1/2" lift it looks so much better.
Edit; Nevermind, reading is fundamental.
Either a geared lug wrench or a porkchop and the 13/16 square socket. The porkchop simply grips the outside nut so the thimble can be twisted out of the middle. The geared wrench is the one certain way to avoid this in the future (and properly torqued thimbles).
Funny, when I bought my second M275 I got it from Bruce Kubu. At the time he has Jumbo the M125. When we arrived at the farm Jumbo was out. After prepping the little tractor that could, I pulled it up next to Jumbo. Think deuce compared to Zuk Samurai.
