    Deuce window channel felt thickness?

So I'm guessing that you were forced to fabricate new channels because yours were too corroded? I will probably put mine in my bead blast cabinet and take them to bare metal, then repaint and glue in new carpet. Just have to find some of that carpet...

I could put the cover on and measure but it keeps raining on me.

    Tarp cleaning and stave length

I have three green vinyl cargo covers that came with some deuces I picked up recently, but they were folded up laying in the bed and have some pretty bad rust staining, some spots even are crusty rusty. Not sure about using CLR to clean them as it says it may discolor/ destroy some fabrics. I...

Fuel system leaks - suction side, air in lines etc.

That's the way the oldschool diesel mechanics used to do it. They used glass sight glasses though.

    Armor Headlight Issue

I've been having problems with GE bulbs in my house too. I had Halogen bulbs in the recessed fixtures in the kitchen and they were only lasting a few hours before they popped. Switched to another brand, problem solved. The GE bulbs were Chinese made, or Mexican made. Can't remember which one but...

Well I wish I could be of more assistance to you but I have not done any modifications to brake systems like you are trying to do to offer anything else.

5-ton hydro-power booster on hydraulic pump for power steering

The only problem might be finding a replacement master cylinder that is able to move enough fluid to work properly. Would take a very large bore I would think.

Anyway, to the O.P, it is a fuel pressure sensor for diagnostic equipment. That's what we came up with collectively in the other thread.

Didn't we just finish a thread on this? Or is this a do-over because that one got ummm... nasty?

Push Button Head Light Switch...... Dash Lights All The Time!

Why replace something rugged, simple, and reliable with something that is not? I thought rugged and simple at least was the point of these trucks. Come on Dan...

Bobbed deuce or 5 ton for light to moderate crawling, mudding, and general wheeling

This may be true man, but you still don't get the contact patch that you have with the extra axle. More rubber on the ground is a good thing.

ok getting to know my deuce, need some wisdom

Look where the wiring harness goes through the firewall, and at all four corners where the wires come off of the frame and go to the lights. Usually the wires rot and the insulation falls off where they are exposed to the weather at the corners.

Rear wire harness/stuck in 6 wheel drive

Are your front tires more worn down than the rears? Cant do that with a sprag case, at least not if they are much different in height.

    Grill re-work/change

That would be the icing on the cake to put a Bentley emblem on there.

Bobbed deuce or 5 ton for light to moderate crawling, mudding, and general wheeling

Yep! Look at the articulation of the rear ends in that pic, you cant get that or the contact patch of that with one less axle. Go on youtube and watch some bobbed deuce wheeling videos, you will see that they almost always end up stuck. Then watch some regular deuces wheeling and see what you think.
