The pass-thru both in the cab and bed are for power to radios. It requires the same 3-pin Bendix female connector style as found on 25 amp voltage regulators.
A kit was stocked for that purpose, with the pre-wired connector and grommit. Some surplus dealers may still have some in stock.

My Dad worked SP from '39 to '80. Ran the baggage office in Yuma, AZ until passenger service died. Then he went to driving the crew bus.
They treated him well, even counted his stint in the Navy during WW2 as RR time.
Modern RR's are sure different from what I grew up with.
For the AB-243 antenna base, the bed has pre-punched knockouts in 7 places.
6 smaller holes for mounting, one larger for the RF cable to pass thru.
They will never just 'push' out with a punch, better to just drill them out.
Just below the bed top edge, left side of the bed.

Big singles do much better in sand (read beach). Plus, they are easier to source today than 9.00-20's.
The right tires can carry any weight you might have.
Trust me, I live in sand.
Our forums are full of those with problems with 900- and LMTV- series trucks, mostly electrical.
The old 800-series rigs have no such hassles, use the venerable Cummins 250, and are of age to easily get historic vehicle tags and insurance.
Simple, robust, and reliable.
I found a set of 15" 6-bolt lowboy wheels at a truck salvage place. Their offset will allow use on the 6-bolt Budd pattern without rubbing.
I bought 9.00-15 lowboy tires (12 ply), they handle more weight than a 9.00-20.
Most of the time they are on a M105 with added sideboards, hauling 1.5 yd...
No. They work fine on 12V, but the internal circuit breaker may not handle the total load of a bunch of 12V lights.
Half the voltage, twice the current is how it works.
Those multipin connectors are by Bendix.
Easy enuf to restore, unscrew the retaining back shell and weasel the rubber back along the wires. Be sure to salvage the wire markers for later.
If it is stuck, a squirt of DOT 3 will help things along.
If the wires will be cut, do so and pull them...
Could be the push rod going into the MC might be adjusted too long.
That in turn won't let the piston return, and keeps pressure in the lines.
You can do a simple test: wiggle the rubber boot and see if there is a bit of free play in the rod. It only needs about 1/16" to be OK.
Some M34/M135 wheels would look & work a bit better for your truck.
Same width, OK for 12.00's, just a different offset.
I have a set if you're interested.
