I usually get some nice old chevy pick ups and one ton trucks most coming from municipalities are low mileage but. Its buyer beware a lot are pretty beat up they put the GSA to shame with some of the beat up trucks they list.
Yes the truck will go back to being a 3/4 ton but I have another stock 1008 for hauling firewood and a 77 chevy dually for pulling a trailer. The louisana NG have been beating this truck since 84 now its retired Im going with the lift because of useing 37 inch humvee tires and rims this will...
If Im not mistaken if they classify the lot as abandoned there is no default and no refund either. I dont know how the lot is determined to be abandoned unless the OP sent in a release as is common to have someone pick it up.
I have bought many trucks with the turn in sheet in the truck and some things listed were in the description when it was lotted. I was contemplating tossing in a bid on the truck in question knowing it will be a haul away and expecting to possibly to have to tear the engine down.
Depends on the site manager and what kind of day the GL person at the corporate office in AZ is having. If its been listed as abandoned I think your out of luck some guys I spoke to told me if its listed as abandoned its to late.
I just ordered a four inch lift from rough country yesterday all four springs (didnt want to go with rear blocks) shocks, pitman arm block but the kit didnt come with u-bolts though I am lifting the 1008 to use humvee tires and rims. I used rough country lifts on some 1009s this is the first on...
Gotta watch useing these those stiffeners these hoods were made to crumple there in case of a wreck they will go through the windshield with nasty results otherwise. I just bought three hoods off suburbans in my friends junkyard rustfree fourty dollars each the hoods on the CUCVs seem much...
You beat me out by 25 dollars on that truck I was at work and couldnt up my bid it didnt look to rusty by the pics I saw but you got a good deal for the price.
LMC has high shipping rates they go by how much you spend to calculate shipping I usually go to brothers or grumpys truck parts instead. I never had a problem with LMCs products just their shipping rates but they might have changed their shipping policy since I bought from them years ago.
I might go with JC whitney for the lift I bought a rough country lift from them before and had good luck they are so big they have great prices and I can add on any extras I want too.
I finally got my 1008 running great and all the doors and fenders aligned so now on to the rest of the truck. Yesterday I took a road trip and got a set of 37 inch humvee wheels and tires for the truck. It was a good trip I came home with the wheel tire combo a C-turbo to put on the shelf a...
