I haven't tested the winches single line capacity yet. but so far it handles what I need it to. I've got a pulley block for it to make it easier on the winch.
I've had one of these pickup truck cranes sitting around from an old truck I had but without a base for a few years now.

decided I wanted to make use of it with some new metal for the base and combine it with a powered cable courtesy of

guess you don't need any help then :-P
like I said, don't know that specific alternator, but the AC prong is marked such because it is connected to a phase of the alternator and is not rectified.
It doesn't prevent the alternator from functioning if there are other power outputs.
If the...
everyone wants to be a wiseguy.
I don't know about this specific unit - but similar units are internally regulated and the A/C wire is not necessary for it to function - only connecting the + and - leads.
if this is not an internally regulated alternator then the simplest answer to the...
why not add an inline airtool oiler to the the airpacks airline
I know some systems you want clean dry air, but it seems that it would be very beneficial to the airpack.
yeah one wire delco units int he 50-60 amp range are about 70$
this is 150amp unit - 3 times the output for only twice the cost.
a bit more google foo turned up that the R terminal labeled as neutral may be an AC current tapped off of one phase of the alternator.
the other terminal is...
think i found the terminal layout for the alternator

I'm not sure what the "STATOR NEUTRAL TAP" and the "CHG IND TERMINAL" would be used for.
at the very least you would have to use the carbon based pads designed for high speed stopping, they won't catch fire, but if you get the caliper hot enough you will still melt the seals an light off the hydraulic fluid.
imo if you need more braking help to avoid fading then install an exhaust...
anyone ever used one of these alternators? Wondering how it is wired. the price is right for a 24v 150amp alternator (equivalent output of a 12v 300amp alternator)

that auto eject 30 amp power plug from kussmaul is 576.58 + shipping and the cord end to go with it is 144.16 plus shipping.
oftly expensive for a servo actuated pusher to just the plug out.
i vaguely remember that, gatos.
I seem to remember a thread also related to the different compressors that came in the trucks, single piston, dual piston, etc. might be the same thread.
