HELP Por Favor....ECV Sheppard M83P steering gear box mounting bolts and Pitman retainer bolt.

Seems like an easy bolt to find, you don't have a fastener business in Henderson? get grade 8 that is all you are going to get with the NSN number. A simple web search came up that HPG has 62 in stock if you are determined to get "real" bolts...

Looking for an engine mechanic near Phoenix AZ please

These things are also bad about cracking cylinders and of course heads, if it gets to the point they pull the heads make sure they find the problem. I don't think I would even bother doing heads on a non GEP engine, I would try and source a good GEP replacement.

The FAV weighs in at 1640lb and had 27mm bars, 24MM...

    Restoration of FAV #0010

They are available, there are three basic bars for the VW series, this uses the longest which is 26 9/16" 27mm was just too dang heavy I am thinking a 23-24MM would be plenty, the force needed gets exponentially higher with width. I am seeking advice from the off road guys, but this thing will...

    Restoration of FAV #0010

OK, NOW I can say the chassis is fully stripped! The second torsion bar did not come out any easier than the first, it only seemed that way because I was better equipped to do the job, no problem bending the 3/4" pull plate and the added luxury of being able to beat on the other end made it...

    Advice Please: Planning 4L80 Conversion

Gear oil is much thicker than ATF , as far as I can remember the viscosity weights are directly related from gear oil to automatic transmission fluid to engine oil.

Air World transmission in Houston. Not a big shop but I have always been pleased with the work and knowledge. Are you thinking of installing a 700R4? if so I may have something that will get you to a good start.
