ive had the 802 for 6 years and havnt had much to do. i replaced the fuel lines. mine was sueplused because wires for the convenice outlet melted into surrounding wires (overloaded outlet). easy fix. these are lister/petter LPW2 engines, just onan badged. yes you can get engine related parts...
i cracked the oil pump gear housing on one of these eng. and replaced the pump gears. no priming was needed. may want to take another look at pump shaft and cam.
thats the duel rec. i used from hf i welded a collar on that top reciever and that plate to beef it up. this will give you an added 4 in. in height to pull those higher deuce trailers.
i use a ppg automotive enamal paint on mine. the color came from inside the sheetmetal of the generator (forest green) dark in color. the paint is a simi flat and allows fluids to be wiped off without staining.
doable, the 353 is made to tow behind a deuce so tounge hight i think is 32in. and its rated 3 1/2 ton a little overkill. this is the set up i use on my 103 behind my 1/2 ton chevy (same height).
here is one of my 002s on a hf. works but i replaced the tounge as the one the trailer comes with is a piece of junk its thin c channel and to short. and i had to buy some wood, bolts etc. the trailer was 199.00 replacement tounge and jack 80.00 wood and nuts and bolts 50.00 or so. and it doesnt...
model m116a2 i paid 250.00 for one in college station tx. the one with the 002 came from gl with the 002 for 1000.00. seach ebay ive seen em come up, gl also. youall see alot more 101s wich can bee used also just have that box. i would say 300.00-500.00 depending on acc. ill keep a look out for...
i have been looking a while with no luck for a original set of bows and top for my m116 generator trailer. i had an old m105 that i used the bow tops off of. i cut wood sides for the bows and cut down the tarp 14.5 in. on each end and 6.5 in. on the ftont and back, bolted the corners. anyway...
