i solder all the wire ends, keeps them from fraying. put a meter on your batt. posts. see what voltage you have before starting and after you start. you should see somthing like 26 volts or better if its charging.
trying to figire out if one of ny 002s will be enough to start my daughters a/c unit. the RLA 17.9 seems fine but the LRA is 112.0. i think this is about 2 1/2 tons maybe 3?.
i have read a couple of threads on these, on one phase was overloaded and another somthing got into the head causing trouble. i had one for years good gen. for gas. very powerfull 500 not bad if it wotks. the downside to these, the noise 82 db at 25 ft. fuel consumption is 2.4 gph mine got...
$2,100.00, more than i usally pay for these but no 10% fee and no wait picked it up the next day, close to me and 2.2 hours. i talked to the guy (steve) he told me their were 9 of these, they were all resets that were never used and these were the last 2. the others had been claimed by other...
my recent gsa win
this is my most recent. a reset with 2.2 hrs. still on it. sat for 6 years. didnt get the cover. wasnt cheap though. batteries were bad slaved it off another cranked right up purrred.
everything works not used to that, sweet.
the new style reg. are still out their. call jay at satutn surplus. i paid $125.00 for a tested used from them. with the new style reg. you have to change out that vaiable voltage pot on the control panel. i havnt used any of thr aftermarket reg. maybe somone here or at smoke stack has.
my 002 did the same thing. be sure the valve lash is set good . i set mine on 1 inch rubber pads when on concrete to prevent this or you can put it on a trailer.
you may have taken out some or all of the rotating diodes in the head and or a/c regulator even the windings. my oven is 5500 watts all by itself. serverly overloaded. verify voltage with a meter.
try to get the tms and read them . good luck
ran maybe 15 min. one day and the next day the damage was done.
dont idle that set you will damage the a/c regulator in short order. get yourself a meter to read frequincy 60 hertz 3600 rpm.
your probally going to need a carb. too. saturn has them but their not cheap $73.00 i just got one. be aware you cant run ethonal fuel in these, swells the float.
here is the tm breakdown. i think were talking about the same valve (metering) its hard to locate you would need to push it off its seat if its stuck.
