After 91 will all be a drivers drop. To get the passenger side drop you need it will have to be an 89-91 3/4 ton burb. All the blazers (stock anyways) will be 27 spline. All the old body one tons will have a 205. Might find a 27 spline and change input. These folks have parts and rebuilt...
One way to cleanout rust is to make a sheetmetal cover for the lift pump hole and gauge sending unit hole and then dump a bunch of P rock in there and roll it down a hill.
You can certainly wiggle the engine in with the pan on but it won't be without some scratches and maybe a ding or two. Is the plan now to remove the engine and tranny as a unit? If your truck has the removable front crossmember, I would pull the powerpack as an assy and strip it outside the truck.
The armor headlight grounds through the stud. The 2 leads are for high beam and low beam. The switch has 2 leads of each. Just need to use a continuity tester to test across them to see which are paired together for switch operation. I've done them before but don't remember the corresponding...
Needs 5.38 gears. That's spittin funny. We had one event in Ohio where they had skillet races. Basically a cast iron skillet, a rope and an ATV. They even had a water truck to water the course. The skillet gets hot on the seat. Helmet required.
