I'm on the fence with these winches. They look appealing for my CUCV wrecker project as a front winch but I also have hydraulics so I might benefit from that. Decisions!
For what it's worth, I liked the cab too. I'm glad it's your machine, it it were mine and it ran, it would have already been in the woods for a trail ride.

Hitting back towards the center of the kingpin distorts that metal just enough to pinch the tapered cones out. If this doesn't work, weld a nut on the stud and back it off.

Add the dromedary that brick posted and then work in some JATO boosters. Wouldn't do much for the 45 problem but would make light to light bursts a little more interesting.

For what it's worth, DOD has spent countless millions on corrosion studies and rust and corrosion preventative coatings and treatments. Think they probably care. Matter of fact is they must do this, they surely can't put all their wheeled stock up on jackstands and put RV tire covers on them...
