My brother and I found the remnants of a slat grill. Unfortunately the plates are gone but we have found the following:
Body number 23199
The rear axle has "23" on the lower right, 10378 (the 3 could also be an
8) upper right, US PAT 888618 upper left, and US PAT 2018188 lower left.
On left...
When I first saw that county truck stuck, I thought "Michigan pot holes"! It has been at least 30 hours since the last snow flake fell and I have not had a county truck drive by yet. Good thing my mog was ready!
The cj snow plow set is awesome!
Off topic: Lane, using Argyle yet?

Here are the rims I believe are for duals and they match a set that was just sold on the ebay. There are four rims, all have lock rings and one is mounted on a ndt. Check out the offset.
Regards,
I will take pictures of the rims I have and post. To my knowlege, they have different offsets for both inside and outside rims since you do not want the tires to rub. I do not know what rims are pictured above...Regards,
That is nice looking! I have a set of dually M37 type rims and I always wondered what it it would look like. Thanks for posting and if someone wants to do this I have the rims...

Thanks for your service!

Sorry to see you selling her! If someone is looking for a hmmwv that needs nothing, then this is the truck! It will make someone a happy hmmwv owner and hopefully and even better stocking stuffer for Christmas! Good luck Joel and don't forget...your Dodge takes gasoline. :lol:

The Wrangler MT/R Military Edition features the following:
* tread life improvement over the current tire;
* patented "anti-puncture pads" to help resist shoulder punctures;
* a three-ply sidewall construction and advanced silica compound...
From my memory, so becareful :D , the radial rims that are rated for 3800 pounds were made for the added wieght of the hmmwv, along with the improvements to the tire. The rims were then improved with stainless steel bolts to prevent rust and losing these bolts while tire is inflated. The rims...
I hope they are a good buy!
Fresh new MT's now fetch a minimum of $1000 and up inpart due to demand and manufacting costs. Not to scare you but make sure they are not retreads, have leaks in the sidewalls or older MT tires the military removed in place of the late model MT with the sidewall...

I resumitted this add and thought that I would bring back up to the top for a fresh look for people around the globe :lol:
On my Unimog, I am using my dozer blade to move snow since it will fit in my shop with my other tools!
Regards,
It has been a few years since I restored my 151A2 but I do have pictures of the rear exhaust before and after. The pipe with the 3 bolt flange ends under the rear cross member to the left of the left rear bumperette. Then there is tail pipe that is bolted to the pipe to extend it towards the...
Update...work has gotten in the way of fun (east coast, west coast, southern border, across northern border). Plus when I am home, I have been working on my Unimog. I have been getting it ready for the global warming snow here in Michigan (know locally as lake effect snow). Since Lane bought...
Well wrote/said Mike. Mogs are fun but not fast unless you want to shell out real money. On maintenance, I just spent $250 on a brake booster rebuild parts kit and $350 for master cylinder kit. Nothing worse than trying to stop a 14,000 pound rig with implements and with no brake pedal...
