I keep the top lever straight up normally (daytime) and flip it over two clicks (all the way) to the right at night time. Are you saying up is off? It seems like I have always had signals before when the lever was straight up. I never mess with the left lower (brightness) lever.

I tried to figure mileage, but it was tough. I burned real close to 100 gallons of diesel. I traveled 850 miles. That should put me somewhere in the neighborhood of 8-9 mpg. I tried very hard to hold the tach right at 2500 rpm and not go past that. My gps showed that as 60 mph. I am sure...
