    Extra storage

I felt the need to say something, since this appears to be a mini-haspin gathering. With that said, looks fine to me. Can you even fit a 395 spare tire on the carrier?

    33rd Diesel Nats, Englishtown Pics

Neat looking trucks. Why would you paint a picture of your truck, on your truck?

Who Had the 5 ton rims in OH.?

    Transfer case PTO question

I found out the hard way the collar with the bolt may not fit on a newer T-case. The old t-case had a tapped hole for the bolt, the new case had a hole with no threads. And the shaft was hardened, preventing it from being tapped. We drilled and tapped a set screw on the collar, didn't know at...

    Thought on U-joints and Tandems

I vary what axle is driving in the rear for tire wear. An if I'm hauling heavy, I run both axles, even if it's all on road time.

I feel odd driving my M886

My dad's main vehicle is a retired ambulance, not military. He's never painted it, so it still looks like it could be in service, but I think it only has the cross on the roof. It's used for electrical contracting work. So if he drives it every day without a care, you should be fine. But...

    Help please misfiring M35 multifuel.

The plates could be from a previous pump, they are known to fall off. I think the ones you see are the shim plates that go around the impeller. See what happens when you get the original filter in place.

    Cranes

M108 crane is 20,000 empty. I also find mine very useful. As a note, the frame is reinfored and wrecker style springs are installed on a stock M108.

    diesel noises

It's pretty easy to pull the pan, and check for loose rod/main bearings. Jack up the frame of the truck some, letting the axle drop, to gain enough room to remove the pan.

    1948 willys jeep

What's with the 329? Those old jeeps are bad enought with the 9 in brakes, don't need any more power.

Wisconsin dot to propose mv ban

Pretty sure pointing out the use of non-taxed fuel is not going to help your cause. Not to mention the emissions that may be worse with used oil.

    M35A2 Winch Operations

    10 Ton M125 Repaint

Looking good! I don't know if your forklift does it, but at work we flip the forks on the mast upside down to gain more height. Works well when lifting things near the ceiling. Dennis

MV ignition distributor with Civilian Wires

I cut the civi wires off with some wire sticking out, then used a piece of 3/8 fuel line around the wire to fit it in the hole on the distribuator. Had to put a little grease on everything, then it slid nice and snug in the hole. Seems to be waterproof too. Dennis

    Pic from 2009 MVPA Evansville

Here's some more. Went out on the LST and caught Tom's LVT in the water. Very cool tour of the ship. Got to meet some people and see some cool trucks. Be great when they come back to Dayton in 2011. Dennis
