    multifuel engine fan measurements

Gerhard, thanks for taking measurements. I need a fan with 1.75" pilot and 2.5" bolt circle.

    multifuel engine fan measurements

I am replacing the original REO OA331 engine with a later model REO OH200 engine. The later model engine has a larger water pump and a 4-bolt pattern for the fan. The original OA331 fan fits on to the hub but requires six bolts.

    multifuel engine fan measurements

I am looking for a fan to fit a deuce gas engine with four bolt holes. The multifuel fan looks like it might work. Can someone measure the hub pilot diameter, bolt circle diameter, and overall fan diameter? Thanks.

    Advance/Retard 5 Ton Gasser

Your rebuilt disty was probably for the deuce OA331 gas engine; they spin the opposite direction and look very similar. IIRC, Vermont Commercial Salvage had reasonably priced rebuilt R6602 distys.

    FRONT AXLE DOES NOT ENGAGE

Just to be clear. The only thing that the transmission linkage does is to provide pressure to move a collar inside the transfer case from the forward sprag to the reverse sprag. As soon as the shift lever is moved from reverse to neutral, this pressure is removed and a spring internal to the...

    FRONT AXLE DOES NOT ENGAGE

The shift lever does not have to be moved through first to engage the front. If it did, it any benefit would be undone when passing back through neutral.

    Air Compressor Help

RE: Air compressor help I believe that the supply and drain line are in the bracket that bolts to the block.

    Deuce floor mat

Something to keep the noise down a little and keep the paint on the floor.

    Deuce floor mat

Does anyone make a nice, formed floormat for the Deuce?

    Zeinth Carb Parts/gasket sets

I think that it would be interesting and not that tough to have dual exhaust and two intakes fed by holley 2300 two bbls. It seems that it is very hard to get a complete burn on these engines. I wonder how much a hot ignition and spark plugs with an extended tip and wider gap would help.

    Cracked 302 exhaust manifold

The nova will have a different style engine (194, 230, 250, etc). The GMC engine is 1-7/16" longer than the 235/261 chevy so the (one piece) exhaust manifold will not fit. I think that the two piece cast iron headers can be modified to fit the GMC. You can get the correct cast iron headers...

    Cracked 302 exhaust manifold

There are lots of places that make tubular or cast iron headers to fit the 302. Patricks Antique Cars and Trucks sells a cast iron version (may be a modified 235/261); Cliffords sells short and full length tubular header (BTDT), Phillips sells larger diameter cast iron headers nice but $$$...

    Help with carborator....

The original carb is a Holley 885-ffg. A manual can be found here: http://www.tocmp.com/manuals/Carbs/Holley/885/content/MCarbHoll885_1957_B164_index_0004.htm Rebuild kits should be available from the usual military parts houses. If you do a google search, you should also be able to find them...

1942 M211, M222? How much is it worth running?

Were there any M135/ M211 with detroit diesels? A number of years ago, I had the local auto parts store looking for master cylinder for my M135 and their parts book had separate listing for gas and detroit diesel.

118712 24 volt military coil from Boyce

Normally, the high voltage receptacle shell is held in with a screw; maybe this was forgotten when manufactured? You know, you don't need a special coil for 24V. The M35/ M135/ M211 military distributors used a standard 1.5ohm AC delco coil. You just have to limit the current through the...

    M211 intake manifold alignement sleeves

They should be fine. They only have to align the intake manifold and gaslets during assembly; they don't do anything else.

    Check valve for oil filters?

300k miles on a dodge with 5.9 isn't a big deal; I'm not sure that I would attribute that to the preluber. Are the engines wearing out due to debri or having catastrophic failure due to poor design/ metallurgy? I worked a a tractor dealership for a couple of years in high school and I only saw...

    M211 intake manifold alignement sleeves

The alignment sleeves are the three metal rings that fit into the counterbores in the intake manifild and cylinder head ports. They align the intake manifold ports to the cylinder head. Shouldn't be that hard to make your own.

    M211 crankase ventiloation valve guts

It is probably the same as any GMC PCV valve of that era. I can probably turn up an extra one but it'll be a week before I have a chance to check.
