Yes, At least a third of the trucks were listed incorrectly.
I did not get any winch trucks, and only bid on 3. But there are going to be some unhappy customers looking for winch trucks that are not there.

I tried to start both M920's. One was the one listed properly and the other was listed as a deuce with the wrong photo. My battery cables were too small to provide enough current to start them.
Imagine the suprise of the buyer of the "M35A2"" when they come to pick it up and it's really an M920!!
The trucks I bid on went for between $600 and $2500 I drove up at the inspection and jumped every truck that would not crank. Then I bid on the ones that ran and had brakes. I jumped over 100 trucks that day.
Anyone know someone near Grayling that could store the trucks for a very short period...
Just bought s s s ss s seventeen trucks at Grayling!!
I hadn't really planned to buy that many, but who can help themselves when there are that many good running trucks for sale at once!!

P.S.
Anyone want to drive a deuce from Grayling, MI to Montrose, MI ?
Dennis,
Thanks so much for all your efforts. But I have struggled much in the past from fuel system problems, even changing out an engine with a chronic problem. So I want my tank to be (super clean) If I can't find a "really good" used or NOS tank, I may build my own tank out of...
I can't move it, but can probably find storage for it if you can find a way to move it to Montrose, MI. 48457
If you find a way to move it and need storage let me know, and I'll ask my friends who have room.
I would offer on my place but I live in town on a 75 ft wide lot. (next to a village...
I had that exact same problem. Then finally a tire went flat, and when I had it pulled off the rim they found a new flap rolled up inside the tire. It still had the rubber band around it. It was between the tube and the tire bouncing the truck around for the last couple years!
I'll have to take some more photos. The project is still a long way from being finished.
I purchased two lockers from Reider Racing several years ago. I planned to put them in the rear of my M342 deuce dump truck.
I never got them installed so I decided to put one in the rear of my bobb...
What kind of favor? Do you need help with something? I would be happy to help out.
If you need me to check on something, I am only about 35 min from linwood.
I'll be around till Friday then we are headed to Sarasota for a week.
Bill
O, and what kind of shape is your spare tank in? Stretch...
Hi,
I am still working on my bobbed deuce. The rear locker is in and I am working on the brakes. Good thing I pulled the axle apart as one of the outer bearings had failed. It wouldn't have driven much farther!
Turns out the fuel tank has a hole rusted in the bottom.
Anyone have a...
In the photos by M813Rc earlier in this post. What is the extra peice of metal bolted to the top edge of the rear of the cab? I found one on a truck last year and removed it, it has what looks like a hood latch on one end. But I don't know what it is for? It was in a truck with the cab...
I just measured the frame height from the floor to the bottom of the frame. With the 5 ton front spring set mounted in the rear these are the heights:
Just in front of the front tire 30-5/8 inches
Just behind the front tire 31 inches
Just in front of the rear axle 33 inches
behind the rear...
