This sorta fits here but not really. Would like to thank the 3 outstanding young men that where at the main gate at Cherry point Yesterday a 0730. They where looking sharp and had a exceptionally high degree of perfectionism not found to often in this day and age. Wish I could tell you what I...
looking for a Pass side seat for a Duece, reasonably priced of course or will trade for the pass spring seat thats in my truck now. Also looking for a couple cases MRE's.
I was not stirring at all. People work hard for their money and expect a square deal. All I am saying is man up and make it right. The op wanted 3rd party opinions and thats my opinion.Where I am from its called title jumping and it is illegal. He already paid the sales tax on it when he bought...
I don't find any humor in it, and the buyer is taking it a lot eaiser than me. I think if it was not resolved in short order the powers that be would be involed. The truck was sold with the understanding that the paperwork would get the truck titled. I would want my money all of it or the...
I think if you sold the truck with the explanation that the truck could be titled with the paperwork you suppied and in fact the buyer couldn't . I think you should offer a refund with any cost the buyer may have in getting it home or get him a title at your expense.
You where doing it wrong for ten years. Trucks generally don't need cross chained but anything with tracks does because it will slide sideways if not crossed. I have been hauling 20years and my observation has been when chained just to the corners the load will shift sideways and in the...
I would use what's in it and working. Why re invent the wheel. If there was a chance that after I changed oil a o ring in a clutch pack would go bad I would not do it,the service bill would be more than the truck cost.
In my part of the world we call it funnin a bit. I think tiny110 took it as such. You have to admit it would wake it up for a bit till it burnt a hole. A few post back I did tell him to shim the governor spring to increase the rpm's. I should have looked in the book as I to have a set of cummins...
I second the convertor. Its gonna be a no win for you when you put that high stall in there you gas mileage will be in the crapper.if its a 383 drivability will not be good they tend to make great power but no low ends, you gotta spin em. I think you need about a 3500-4000rpm stall.usally you...
I am sure I told you a before in this thread that you shim the spring in the back of the pump to increase rpm and fuel pressure at the same time. Its very easy to do even you could do it I think. Stack about a quarter inch of shimes under that spring , on the right side of the pump should be a...
Stalwart is definitely up on his electrical and what he is saying makes sense after I though about it for a bit. I have learned some good info on this thread. Would like to say thanks.
