Don't get to exited read the tm and adjust the shoes first. I have never used a power bleeder just a friend and a lot of pedal down open bleeder close bleeder pedal up,repeat until you get all the air out.
Did you shim the spring in the back of the pump to increase pump pressure? Those shims also control high rpm. The more shims the higher the rpm's and pum pressurre.
I agree with you I don't think it would hurt a thing. But back in the early eighties and earlier big trucks did have 24v starters and operated everything else include the charging system on 12v by means of a seires/parallel switch. To support you todays trucks have 12v starters they run 3...
I have heard this discussed before. Yes your batteries life in theory will be shortened, but in the real world I doubt it will have much effect on longevity. I suppose a transformer 24-12 would be the proper way to do it, you could pull off all the batteries. My 5 ton had a 12v two way radio in...
Its not a quote, but not a guess either its what I do. I bet when the time comes you will hear 4.00 will be the norm for a stepdeck bit more for a rgn and around 80hr for a landoll. There is cheaper but you get what you pay for.

I tow with mine all the time. It had a holmes tow sling with it when I picked it up at redstone makes pickups and stuff easy to tow, back right up like a civy wrecker and hookup
I thought CDL's now with the new csa system where federal not state level. I knew a fellow and personally seen this happen to,he was running a dump truck that was a tri axle, he added a fourth axle. he was pulled over by the ODOT and the truck was impounded for a false registration and given a...
Not sure why they want that much for a piston. Yorks where used on everything from peterbilts to ih tractors. New compressors without the clutch run about 350 and the clutch another 50. Cutting a ring groove is junior high metals class stuff. Take longer to chuck it up than to cut it , all you...
The rare few civy trucks that where mated to a 4l80e had a oil pump drive with a sensor on it that was used for transmission function with a manual ip. Don't know if this helps you in any way but I threw it out there lol
