I don’t have any up to date pictures, sadly. Having my phone handy all the time is good because I am able to take more pictures. right now both fenders are on along with the right side headlight panel. The right side headlight panel is on the pile of waiting to be painted parts. The exhaust is...
ooo, isnt that a pribbs bed? no wonder why it held up so good! that damage would buff out compared to what i had. This weekend was rough... i have a car show in 3 weeks i registered the truck for and need to get it done. its getting to be a pain in the butt and wearing me down working this hard...
yea but its a pain to stand on the fender than step to the downward angle of the bumper. ill slip and smash my nads for sure! I need to find a winch bracket for the right side (the piece that the winch bolts to directly). need that baddd!
Here is the clamp for the J-Pipe that i need to bolt on. I am not sure where this mounts on the fender or body. My M109A3 i think mounts a little different. ill have to figure it out.
EDIT: I figured it out.
Last night I got the passenger side fender on and bolted down. I just need to get the correct fender brace that goes from the cab down to hold the bottom of the fender I also need to get the exhaust hooked up and get the brace for the inner fender on there. There was some body filler that was...
it just looks like it was not inserted all the way before it was crimped. i know some electrial pins have an inspection hole to check and see if the wire is inserted all the way after it is crimped. it would be neat if brake hoses had the same thing. on the other side with brake hoses, it might...
Warthog,
Yes, it seems like I am very close, but yet so far. i still need to put the whole front sheet metal on. it seems to take forever. I need to spend less attention to so much detail maybe. I spend so much time fixing little things to make it near perfect it takes a lot of time. not...
You are the Law Dog! haha!
Good to see you got your hoses fixed. How were they to change?
I would love to have a deuce wrecker... it would be soooo handy!
last night, i got the seats in (minus cushons). i am in the process of cleaning the cushons just so that they are clean when i put them in. some had dirt marks on them. Does anybody have experience of what would be a good cleaner. i would think i can get them wet without a problem and they are...
last night i got the speedometer cable in, the high/low range lever, installed the sheet metal cover over the t-case and changed my temperature gauge. I wanted to wash my drivers seat with some mild laundry detergent just to make it nice and clean, but i didnt get that far. it would be a good...
I didnt do anything on the truck this weekend, but i will definately do something on it tonight. I just wanted to update everybody on my Fuel Return Line Hose. See Post #127. I used the clear stuff and it is not what i should be using. Per Dogheads suggestion (and other people i have seen change...
I do not have a 900 series but it is still fun to learn about them. i think i read in the 900 series TM that it will break the transfer case if you back up in low range. from what i am reading from this thread, is this the reason why? i thought that was crazy that it would do damage by using the...

oh, i also took off my brush guard to remove my winch clutch lever. i installed the detent for the winch lever. It works good now! next step i need to get the torches and wrenches out and finish taking off the front pumper. man that thing looks ugly all bent up.
Here are the pictures from what I got done last night. It was a night of painting pretty much. I got out of work at 4:30 and I was in the garage at 5:30. When I was using the DA to sand down my hood side panel, I noticed it had the word “STORM” stenciled on the side of it. I did not see...
No i did not. I never heard of cleaning them out. i put 12,000 miles on the truck since i got it 2 years ago with regular oil changes. wouldnt it stay clean since it has been driven regularly? It has 30psi of oil pressure at idle and 60 going down the road. I should check it with a mechanical...
Seatbelts?? I already proved that you can crash a deuce and be just fine without them! just a little scratch on your face and if you have a rifle mount, you will take some skin off 2 knuckles upon impact. haha:cookoo:
