    Deuce Stereo Installation

My speakers arrived today along with my wire antenna. They are indoor/outdoor mini box speakers rated to 200w. I got two pairs, cheap and pretty good reviews about volume and durability for such a compact size. Antenna is a marine wire antenna which will be run up the windshield frame, it was...

Used mine to winch my old Multifuel out of a snowbank today

    Death of a Multifuel

Thanks Joe! If you happen to find the cause of the failure post it up here, hope you can put the parts to good use!

    Questions on Removing Transmission

Here's how I did mine, twice now. First to replace the trans and second to replace the engine. Both times did it solo, chain fall and Hi-Lift jack

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Here is the head unit I'll be using, bought it used off of Craigslist. It's the same one I'm using in my jeep and I really like it, and for $30 I couldn't pass it up. Has an auxiliary input for my smartphone and a USB socket for controlling or charging Ipods and other media devices.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

I'm also installing an AVCOMM 24 volt aviation intercom in the near future, audio will be switchable between speakers and headsets.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Here is a link to the speakers I picked up, they are indoor/outdoor 200w. I wanted speakers in their own enclosures so I wouldn't have to build any from scratch. Two will mount in the rear corners of the cab and two more maybe on the top of the windshield frame...

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Currently running a Vanner Battery Equalizer. I have a separate fuse block for my 12v stuff.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Can't take all the credit for it, design was mine and I sheared and punched all the parts but my buddy welded it up and dressed the edges.

    Deuce Stereo Installation

Hey Fellas! Thought I would share the progress I'm making on my Stereo install. I am in the process of building a mount for a single DIN sized AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. The mount will also be used to hold either 3 toggle switches or two switches and a 12v plug, haven't decided yet. This will mount...

A Visit to the Wright Museum

Hey Fellas! Well if you're in the New England area right now you are probably like me, counting down the days until spring (unless you are one of those people who skis or something!). I'm hoping today to give us another reason to look forward to warmer days, an SS Convoy to the Wright Museum in...

    Teardrop Spotlight Project

It's been holding up for a couple years now and gets used A LOT! It's also my Nephew's favorite thing on the truck to play with (especially at night).

Civy wiper conversion with OD paint

Been meaning to update this, my seals did swell with the compressor oil after a while. Definitely would recommend using the silicone spray instead.

    Automatic Reverse Lights / Alarm

Yes the lights are 12 volt wired in series for half of the truck's voltage, the bulbs are very common and cheap so I decided to just go that route instead of the 24 volt. If I lose a bulb all I need to do is find out which one is bad.

    Automatic Reverse Lights / Alarm

Updating an oldie but a goodie, finally got a backup alarm installed. For two years the alarm switch has had no function but today I finished this job. The alarm is a universal 112db unit that I found on that popular auction site. Installation went very smooth and it is very loud! (traditional...

    Strange electrical issue

Okay so first I replaced the bad battery with a known good one (from my jeep) and the buzzer, horn and everything else was operating perfectly. The gauge was still reading in the yellow and my output at the alternator was around 25 volts. The battery is an Ever-Start Maxx from Wal-Mart, it was...

    M35a2 dilemma

I would take the winch and sell the truck whole as a runner, you may be surprised by what you can get for it.

    M35a2 dilemma

I would say it depends on how much you need the parts vs weather or not you want another runner in your collection, or if you can flip it and make some of your money back. Where in NH are you?
