    Daily driven deuces???

Have been using mine as a DD since I got her tagged. So far I have about 4800 miles on her in the past 9 months. In town I get about 6-8 and on the road I get 8-10. It all depends on how hard and fast you drive. I have been using hydraulic fluid to run on, was given to me for free. Once that...

    brake pipe ???

Engine does not have to be running. Just bleed the slave cylinder first (hydraulic side of the air pack) and then work your way forward from the right rear. Have you tried ebay for the dot 5? I got a USgallon for 42 clams or about 30quid. All listed on ebay... Good luck!

new heater core or just a hose?

Just make sure you change the heater core out and hook it back up before winter. Would be an eye-opening experience in the cold and the look on your face "I thought I forgot something" the first cold snap!

Never been pulled over or tailed. The state boys get a kick out of the deuce everytime they see it. Light flash or thumbs up. The locals and county guys are in awe, 9 times out 10 they are pulling their cell phones out at the stop light/sign and taking pics. Have had several drive by...

    Gear lube question

GL-1-90 in everything. I paid 26 clams a 5 gal pail (2) the last change I did and had some left over and keep in the truck. I personally do not see the need to go synthetic and I wanted everything the same. The sun idea and a hand pump are excellent ideas, especially sitting it in the sun!:D

    Epic, brutal failure

500 clams is an excellent deal! Before I picked up my M1008, I checked with a local business that used to put A/Cs in cars when I was a kid. He told me that they were getting 800!!! in labour alone, back then. He told me to bring everything to him when I was ready and he would give me a price...

Crude oil as fuel for the Deuce?

Used to work for MSRC at one time in my career. Most all of the stuff they collect will either be disposed of by burial or incineration. Some might be heated up and then centrifuged, it all depends on the quality of the recovered material. $$$ makes the decision on disposal or cleaning...
