CTIS pressure settings increase - no programming, transducer, or module required.

If you haven't rebuilt or replaced all the wheel valves that could easily be the problem. They are typically NASTY inside. I would also replace the PCU relief valve and rebuild the PCU if it hasn't been. It requiring adjustment is a great troubleshooting step but ultimately this indicates to...

CTIS pressure settings increase - no programming, transducer, or module required.

What did you end up doing for that error again? You might want to replace the relief valve or try a whole different PCU since I have never seen that problem with any other truck. My system works flawlessly on my '08 A1R and I've never had to press a mode button more than one time.

    LMTV M1078 1998 3116 - Wiring Issue, I'm flummoxed !!

Can you show your data plate? That style of PDP is generally seen on A1 3126 trucks, not the 3116 trucks.

    Replacement Part m1078 etc.

I'll rock a set of those. With M4 please. You should do a set with an M16A1 with iron sights instead of the ACOG. Us mechanics didn't get them fancy M4's or scopes. :ROFLMAO:

FMTV -10 Manual PMCS QR Codes

For convenience of the soldiers, the PMCS portions of the -10 manuals have been digitized and QR codes produced so they can simply scan the code on the dash of the truck and go through the PMCS using their phone. I present them here. You can print, laminate, and post it somewhere on your truck...

    LMTV '04 M1078A1 starting issues

Right. The batteries are expected to pickup this intermittent load and then be recharged by the alternator. The alt will likely go to 100%+ operation (not 100A because engine is at idle immediately after start) for a bit till the AIH turns off. Shouldn't hurt it for the short time it's on and...

    LMTV '04 M1078A1 starting issues

70 to 90 amps is normal for the 24v AIH. The 12v versions used on some applications can draw 200A.

    A1R brake pedal valve up(down)grade.

I measured both of the assemblies pivot to actuator rod/roller and both were close to 1.5" but the Bendix is slightly larger I think.

    A1R brake pedal valve up(down)grade.

Those of you who have not driven an A1R or A1P2 probably will not understand this post. The C7 trucks (serial #100,001+) including both A1R and A1P2 have a different air brake pedal valve and if you have driven A0, A1, and A1R you may have noticed that the A1R trucks seem to have a brake pedal...

    LMTV '04 M1078A1 starting issues

On my 260A it was definitely a PWM drive. I scoped the signal and caught it going static (to battery voltage) and over-driving the 28v on my truck. But the 260A has the PWM on the positive side, while the 100A is driven from the negative side IIRC. Again I'm no EE but the 260A is newer and...

Is govplanet still auctioning California M1093-M1083’s

They will keep trickling out for years. Every guard and reserve base is still filthy with A1's that will eventually be disposed of. My local guard base has tons of them. Even saw a CUCV still sitting around. The Army has a lot of junk in it's trunk.

    LMTV '04 M1078A1 starting issues

Tell me more about this high 14v reading during starting? Maybe a video of what you are reading....... AIH runs on 28v and on my truck I do see the 28v side drop when the AIH is in play. One of the first problems I fixed with my truck was that some PVT Snuffy type had connected the AIH to the...

    Batteries

But - why? Just adds needless complexity. I don't see the benefit - I'm skeptical of the marketing BS. Not an ideal location and what the hell is with the hose management here? More thought should go into installation and routing - honestly would have been better to just forget about it...

Looking to purchase a 1996 1083 and drive it 120 miles home. What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah those would be potentially dangerous. I got 5k miles out of my desert dry rotted 2008's when I bought my truck in 2021 so 2011 dated tires are basically the same age as the failed tire I posted pictures of.

ABS Modulator Brake vent plastic broken

Like that better than the OE design - at least if you aren't going to attach hoses and route them for fording. Rubber washer will keep the mud daubers and spiders out.

Wiring Schematics for M1078 (1997 with new C7)?

Yeah that looks like the right one and about the right price. I show the price to the government in 2020 was $760.94 from Medallion Instrumentation Systems LLC. Part numbers: 12423156, 12423256-001, 7020-20032-01, 7020-20044-01 NSN: 5895-01-591-7887 There is an updated box called out for...

Yeah I'm sure hating that $8 a gallon diesel. 🤣

Wiring Schematics for M1078 (1997 with new C7)?

Beware the MMDC's you see on ebay - most are for boats and don't have the correct programming nor the air tank transducer fittings. I've scored a few for spares and all of them have had one or both of the pressure transducers inoperative just like my original so I sourced replacement transducers...

    LMTV '04 M1078A1 starting issues

Engine ECM uses 24v exclusively from my experience. Although it will happily run on anything down to about 10v. At 28v it draws about 1.2A with the engine running. Only computer I'm aware of that runs on 14v is the ABS unit.

need electric schematic for M1084 A0

If you're going to all the trouble then I would just figure out how to run the Niehoff 570A 24v unit. They are also commonly seen on ebay for $500. Sadly even the C7 trucks only have about 13" to work with in the stock location and the 570A unit is 15.5" long......
