And another thing, if those are 12 volt bulbs and you have them hooked up to the 24 volts like in your diagram, that would be too much voltage and blow all your bulbs fast... so i think you need to remove one of the lights in your circuit and then report back... i bet it will work better then...
If you had your 3 lights in the front hookedin serie and 24 volts powering them, that woud not be the same as your drawing. Your drawing snows a paralle circuit. So if you did have them hooked in series that means each bulb is getting about 8 volts each on a 12 volt bukb explaining why they are dim.

plus pressure relief valves instead of shear pins is a huge plus. no brainer operation then. hook on to whatever and if you cant pull it, get your snatch block out.
I'd like to use today’s technology used to redesign the multifuel camshaft. I know they run good now but maybe there could be more fine tuning that could be done for better valve profiles… maybe even a roller cam somehow. I would think that the advantages of roller camshaft profiles would help...
I wonder why the ice road trucker guys dont use M916's and M920's. Seems like if they repower them for more umph, they would do ok. I know its a long haul for them, but if things get sketchy, that front drive axle would be nice to have. There has to be a good reason or else i would think they...
would squirting oil in the inlet also lube the pushrod that the piston is connected to? i have often thought about that and wondered how that gets lubrication. squirting oil in the back of the air pack is good and all for the air cylinder part of the air pack, but that pushrod seems like it...
are there differences in the M105 covers for different manufacturers? The cover on my M105A2 does not seem to over-lap enough in the front-to-sides and rear-to-sides to keep rain out. It fits all the way around ok, but just does not have enough overlap at the top of the cover like my deuce cover...
I want to make some kind of bracket on the air cleaner housing to mount a small common air filter. An air filter like what is used on a lawnmower. The air compressor only flows 7 CFM i believe, so that would be enough. If it ever got dirty, it would be easy to find a replacement. someday ill get...
i have noticed it helps when i let my deuce warm up for 10-15 minutes before i hit the road... i think it allows for hotter combustion temps and burns more completely. i know the TM says a 5 min warm up for the turbo, but the extra time warming up at 1000 RPM i think helps. seems to with me...
wow, that seems odd.... good information anyway! thanks a lot for your help! It helps seeing pictures in addition to the TM. I just have to buy a socket. 3-3/8" 8 point, correct?
Are the brakes on your lube trailer the same as a M105A2? i see the socket you used was 3-3/8", which is the same as a M105A2.... and i see you have 2 wheel cylinders per side. im just taking notes for when i check the brakes and bearings on my M105A2. nice looking restoration by the way! keep...
very intresting. i didnt think there was the same style gauge as the deuce that was 12 volt and not 24. I installed a 12 volt alternator above my factory 24 volt on my M35A2 and it is going to charge a deep cycle battery in my battery box. I really like the idea of the factory looking gauge...
I've had good luck with kerosene also. im not saying that to sound like im shooting down putting gasoline in the mix, i have done that too. i believe kerosene had a higher flash point than diesel so thats why i put it in to thin out WMO vs. diesel. who knows, all the multis seem to have their...
I was toying with this idea also... having a seperate fuel tank for my flame heater. it wouldnt need much, a quart capacity and gravity fed to the pump. now what would you do with the return line from the flame heater nozzle? i think in the TM's it shows that one way to test for leakage is to...
Shenkmen,
