weekend of the 14th works for me too. if i bring the M109 down and not change the box to a cargo box, my fuel fired heater is going to be nice to sleep in :D
Good call. My plan is to keep the pump in the original location... but definately could lengthen the harness and some plumbing and i would be all set. It might even prime faster your way. We'll see :-)
Last night’s project was this. Like many of you out there, who knows what i put in my fuel tank. It could be used motor oil, some diesel, kerosene, old gasoline, maybe some lamp oil that my grandma wanted to get rid of in her shed, who knows. it is all filtered of course. we know the multifuel...
I was working on my M109 Last night, checking that over and deciding what i need to get to make sure it is ready for the road. I see one front brake hose has a little tumor in it, so i am going to replace all of the hoses. i have to figure out who has new production hoses and where to get them...
i was thinking about making a post on the aux fuel supply hose this week, but decided i needed to do more searching before i posted something. i have a long hydraulic hose with 1/4" NPT ends on it kicking around the garage. since i would have to get an adapter to go from the "AN" fitting on the...
That is exactly what i needed to know. it looks like there is a small screw on the governor shaft that holds the governer arm on.... but anyway Stan, that helps out a lot, thank you! i hope this weekend to load test it and see how it runs. one thing i learned working on MV's is not to take any...
I had the same problem with mine. i gently bent the governor arm also and filed the hole where it passes through a little bit to help fix the problem. i finally got it working freely, but still touches the solenoid when it shuts down. maybe i need to give it a little more tweaking and filing. i...
just a guess... with those small tires i bet it would be a trailer used by the air force or something on a paved surface. Maybe it was a small generator trailer or air compresser trailer.
wow, those specs did not copy and paste well at all... sorry guys. if you go to wix filters and look up the napa filters, it will take you right to the specs.
I was reading threads about the napa 3113 filters having the tabs bent down in order to work... has anybody looked at the Napa 3511 filter? i think its the same as the deuce primary. i did a search and nothing came up for it.
the specs are:
Part Number:33113UPC Number:765809331136Principal...
someday ill have a straight blade plow on my deuce... someday! it would be nice to plow with once or twice a year to push the snow back. thanks for the pics!!
I also Won an MEP-002A and plan on picking up tomorrow. i have to call to make the apointment first.
RJM27, would you like me to bring yours back? i live in Binghamton, it would save you some fuel costs and chip in some gas money for me. win/win. PM me if you are intrested. Happy new generator...
yes, i am talking about the transformer also. im not a 100% sure why i can get the heater working just fine with the switch on 24 volts, but soon as i flip the switch to 115 volts, it runs everything except the fuel metering falve on the heater. i found an additional problem last night, seperate...
its tough to get in there with a meter... i can try though. i think the 24 volts is getting to the heater switch because everything works great on 24 volt.... but then everything on the heater works (fuel pump and fan) on 115 volt except the fuel metering valve... i dont understand it. i have...
