check for voltage at the solenoid lead while in the “run” position”, check that the start switch wires are plugged in correctly, there are only 3 and one is “Ribbed”, making it only having to figure out 2.
I can’t see that they installed more than maybe a pound of r134s with the compressor inoperable, once the system has about 1/2 or so pound, the pressure matches atmospheric pressure and will flat line, you would need to heat up the r134 canister, even then it’s impossible in my opinion.
The...
You can’t mis-wire a starter if you pay attention to the ring lead sizes…if You have power on 74a in the RUN position? The issue is the start switch wired incorrectly, the power should only be present in “start” position.
that’s the engine harness, that’s not an issue with 400’s, something else cut that wire or the harness was run incorrectly.
This 400amp issue has been beaten to death On this forum by yours truly, I even fabricated the first conversion to 200amp generator using the
400amp bracket. Since than, I...
the body number is a mfg assy line tracking number nothing more, nothing less. While at the factory, there is no way to track otherwise, the assignment of Registration and serial numbers isn’t done till after production.
I’ve been replacing the electric heater valve for years with the old style heater valve found in every hmmwv before the ECV/REV, you can easily add the push/pull cable as well because the mfg never ceased installing the hole in the firewall for the cable to pass through.
Going cheap on the very items that stop your truck is not one I skimp on, also….for shop owners, it’s a liability thing.
just did a full rev brake job yesterday, to include new calipers, the Wilwood have an issue with pistons locking up, an Issue I don’t see with the older ECV brake caliper
its not uncommon for some squeaky brakes on these trucks, the OEM pads on a 52 are a very high metallic content, you have solid rotors if you are a Serial number under 300k. You need to check rotors and pads for wear and grooving, a pad slap won’t do much unless you go to a softer pad, which you...
32vdc on the IGN? You have a bad regulator
17vdc on the 14v Tap? Bad regulator
AC is a signal….not voltage.
what is the running battery voltage? I would venture to guess 32vdc, same as IGN…. bad regulator.
The ibistek is no longer authorized and is replaced with the other non- egress windshield system Used in most trucks.
in the military, if a single piece of glass is needed for ibistek? You have to order the new kit with armor and glass.
