 What exactly are you saying when you say you let the clutch out fully? Out, as in foot off the pedal and the truck does not move with your foot on the brake?
I just read about this in another thread, I feel for the guy. He was talking about explaining to the wife about going all the way to KS to get it. I can only imagine what it will be like when he finally makes it home.
ODdave, PM sent.
Whats a ball park figure on the fuel and water cans? These have been sitting out in the weather for years and some are a little rusty. I plan to get one of each just for my self but if they are cheap enough I might get 3-4 more to spread around.
Also what about tires...
Welcome to SS.
I grew up just outside Rapid City. I have just what you need minus the big tires. We (the family) go back home to the Hills every Thanksgiving. If I leave now I could have it delivered to you about then.
Here's my 2cents.
Will they include wheel studs?
$250-$350 plus the cost of the 5ton wheel (most will go with HEMMT wheels, with the thicker centers) + the cost of getting studs for those wheels (if not included with the adapter)...............I'd just buy some already converted HEMMT wheels...
After checking the TM. It appears that the A3's do have run flats. So with out my own A3 to take to a scale I guess I'm done assiting in this thread. Good luck with your project, hope you find your answer.
Aircraft regulations are much, much more stringent than trailer regulations.
I don't remember reading where anyone called your bedliner shoddy?
My question, now that you have resolved the scale accuracy part, Do the wheels have the heavy run-flats in them? The wheels could have been swapped...
:deadhorse: No matter how much you try to get people to see it your way or try to explain how you think would be better, it's not going to change. It's a site rule, leave it at that. Abide by it or get punished for breaking it.
This discussion has been going on for quite awhile and it...
3dAngus, Not trying to argue but did you look at the links I posted? Thats exactly what the links show. But GL is still doing it wrong. They do not "tilt" that way.
Edited to add pic. Note how the tongue lays in sketch #3
