RE: Re: Not A Lurker Anymore.
Welcome aboard , I'd reconsider using the M715 . If you have to rent a truck , but more than likely someone from the site would do it . The only thing better than driving this big green iron is using it to tow more green iron around.
M750
Mine opens and closes easily , I have the insulated side curtains also . I've only tried to hang them once but they seemed to have shrunk a little ( anybody have any tips on the side curtains ? ) When I camp in mine I just close the sides at night ! Also makes it real easy to close up...
Cool ride !!! On the headlights the older trucks are that way , mine is too . It's a gasser right ? What year ? Who built it ? What are you gonna do to it ? Don't you love bringing home new toys ? If you need a bigger dog house get you a van trailer and really do it up !
RE: Re: RE: Looking to get M105 trailer from FT Riley Kansas
Just be careful , just because if they say its an 87 doesn't mean it is . My friend bought an M127 that was stated as an 1987 but the tag was dirty and it was really a 1967 . The GL guy said " you mean you didn't come inspect it first...
Check anything you are going to bid a lot of money on first !!! There descriptions can sometimes leave a lot to be desired , a buddy of mine bought a trailer it was listed as a 1987 but there was dirt on it after wiping it off it was a 1967 ( buyer beware ) . Just the opposite I bought a crew...
Sometimes the carbs pop up on ebay nos for $125 or less , mine pulls whatever I hook to it ! That's a cheap price I don't think you can go wrong for $1500 that's refuse price ! The airpak like ken said is usualy the problem and they aren't real hard to do . Post some pics , I like to see some...
My M52 is 56" , according to tm 43-0001-31 your M757 is supposed to be 55 1/4". My M750 ( 15,820 lbs. ) and my friends M127 ( 14,400 lbs. ) sits level on mine so you shouldn't have any problems , when you hook it'll drop some due to trailer weight . Plenty of tire clearance also so you...
Gasser 5 tons are good motors as long as you got oil pressure , your not running hot and your charging , test drive it and see how it does . That's a pretty good price , dump trucks and wreckers seem to bring the most money !The only thing that seems to pop up a lot on 5 tons I've looked at are...
It's not really a matter of money I would rather someone use it than shred it . I'm open to swapping MV stuff ! I may have other things coming available too .Timewise I'd prefer within a month .
