I bet you have more problems than your cooler. I towed 8-9k with no problems before. Also just last week i towed 5k with 1k in my bed. no issues whatsoever

Kennedy diesel, Heath diesel and Peninsular are the best bet IMO I just dont want people to waste money on these trucks, as they are cheap and aftermarket stuff gets expensive fast. Spend your money wisely

What color is the smoke? You are supossed to line up the gears as said, then the marks, then make adjustments from there. A mechanic can't do anything that you can't do. Unless he has a timing tool which is fairly rare.
