Quick go take it back from the mechanic. Unless he owns a 6.2, i would not leave it there.
Read the manuals and fix it yourself. Otherwise it will likely get messed up. Nobody know's these engines. Injectors will not cause low idle. Maybe smoking/hazing of the exhaust

Ride quality was better than stock? I want better ride, but cant lift yet(work truck), Hoping front springs can do the job for low cost.
I think the remote resevoir is from a 90's 6.5. Could have just been easier to find over there. Dont think there are any drawbacks to it as those trucks had similar brake/steering systems.
I think the precups are better matched with the turbo, but i could be wrong there.
I dont know about the valves, only read that 82's had larger intake valve.
But yes you can bolt them on and go.
What kind of head gaskets are you planning on? Victor Reinz is the top of the line
Most i have done is make a couple paths through some brush, hardly off roading as it once was a road like 20 years ago.
