    Wrecker Bed (A Good Laugh.)

Hmm, mini tater. If I'm forced to scrap the body, maybe. Great idea.

    Georgia Mafia infiltration.....

Was just sitting out on the porch at my brothers house. The long sleeve GA Rally tee shirt was plenty. The 30 degree weather is invigorating. I can't wait till the AM, may get into the low 20s.

    Wrecker Bed (A Good Laugh.)

I may have just stumbled into a NOS left bed side. Hope this pans out.

The good and the bad of owning something tracked and/or armored?

A while back you could have landed an M75 from SECO for $5000. I think George Baker had that in the bare hull (crushed) of his M114. The M114 and M548 are the lighter ones for sure. I'd sneak over to Carrollton GA and have lunch with Gerald at West GA Tactical. He's the M114 king as of late.

    Wrecker Bed (A Good Laugh.)

You guys are killing me! That is a sonic high side bed. The only one more desirable is the sonic low side. I'm going to do my best to ressurect that bed. If I fail, so be it. A journey not traveled yields no satisfaction.

    rear diff lockers

They all came with the gov lock. To remove you would have to swap carriers.

    Wrecker Bed (A Good Laugh.)

That thought has entered my mind Tim. One of the M59 tippers did make it home, the other one fell to Gimpy and Stretch. If the need arises, the bed will go on my current M1008. Now I have to get it the 1100 miles home. Going to see if I can get my car trailer a ride to OH. If I do that I...

    Wrecker Bed (A Good Laugh.)

<======= Please note the 3 amigos laughing in my avatard. So last year, actually, going back to late 2012 I was working on a deal with ChevyC60 to trade him my M108 crane for one of his many M1010 ambulances. Well, in Feb this year the deal came about. My kids weren't too pleased with me...

SS Member Broke Down - Recovered

Good for you Steve. By the way, I got that cart fixed and I'm installing a new lift kit for this year. Should be good to go and steer both directions this time. Don't show Jerry my wrecker bed.

    Unity Spotlight

You were right. Unity is a manufacturer of moveable spotlights. The CUCV ambulance has one through the roof. This wouldn't be a great idea on an off road truck. Unity (and competitors) likely made a model that will fit in the A-pillar but likely not in production. Have a looksee at 73-87 trucks...

    Recovery strap/tow strap

My suggestion is strapman.com. I have been well pleased with his products over the years. For my deuce it was a 6" 60,000# strap or nothing.

Cribbing - May be useful to others

Now you've done it. Everyone is going to be beating your door down for oak. Thank you very much brother.

Cribbing - May be useful to others

I used to have that TM. Someone got it at the GA Rally. If you know anyone in the excavating business, you might have something. One of our members who does excavating brought me a bunch of lengths of oak 4x4s that are used when delivering ductile iron pipe. I took the big mitre saw out and...
