    Data plate needed

I will dig around in the bowels of the trunk.

    Data plate needed

Found this if it helps. It was perfectly flat when it went in the trunk a few years ago, not so much now!

    Crossing the Bar

Another devastating loss to our community. Prentice and I traded parts back and forth. He had a friend that lives in Labelle FL and I've been over his house to grab stuff. Yes, it's a sad day but I thank the Lord for blessing us with the time he shared with us. Eben and Elijah, keep your head...

    No Gen 1 Dash Light

There is a nice compilation of "Sticky" threads and the wiki in the CUCV forum. Many deal with electrical. Try reviewing some of these as well. May be able to shed some light on problems you don't have yet.

    Replace or Rebuild M1028 axle?

This is true. The only exception is the 3/4 ton bonus or crew cab. These have the 40" on center spring perches shared with the 1 ton. The 3/4 ton and burb axles are 42.5" on center (roughly). Shock mounts are different as well.

    My Homemade Steering Wheel Puller

Dell, I sold my last one to Poppop at the GA Rally. I'm reasonably certain he would share if you asked.

    Finally! My first M101A3

Places like Colemans used to have M416 trailers stacked pyramid style. They sold for years for $350. Now a rust bucket is up to a grand. Just found one a while back in a local paper for $850. Looked good in the pics.

    My Homemade Steering Wheel Puller

No pics of the steering wheel off. Did it work?

Can you build me a few of those? I have plenty of cores. LOL

M928A1....to scrap or not to scrap...that is the question.

The rear overhang dragging the ground can be compensated by suspending the fwd rear axle as high as possible. Note avatar, I have some experience!

    Project time once Again

How did you swage the cable loops? I'd like to add something like that to my trlr. Looking good on all accounts.

    CUCV Surveillance Truck

In pic 4 the monitor shows what appears to be tumbeweed. That is actually a really cool truck. One thing, it's certainly not covert with that big tower.

    Data plate needed

I need to dig around in the company vehicle. Pretty sure I have a new M101A2 or M101A3 data plate in there.

Check the numbers on them or be proactive and just replace them.

    700R4/NP205 parts and swap questions

Agreed! Heck, I'm usually the first one to point out the 3.06 low, forgot it completely today.

CSMDavis probably has an engine or 5.

    700R4/NP205 parts and swap questions

A reasonably built 700R4 can handle anything a 6.2 can deliver. All of the deficiencies of the 700 have been worked out and they can be built to hold 1000HP. I've had several trucks that came factory with the 6.2 and 700 and they worked just fine. As far as the transfer case, just remember you...

    700R4/NP205 parts and swap questions

There are many different kits offered from the aftermarket to control lockup. Some are simple hydraulic devices, some are completely programmable. As far as shift pattern, it's the same with one selection added. You can either get a shift indicator from a junk yard, sometimes on ebay or have a...
