    GL wants my Deuce back

Unfortunately Bruce is correct in what he said. If you go start trying to weasel you way out of giving the truck back by illegal means (lying for example) you're just going to make it worse for yourself and possibly everyone else involved in the hobby.

Any idea of what item on that truck is causing the code to be changed around?

    Strangest items requireing an EUC

There was a 15ft John boat w/ trailer up here in St. Paul last year that required an EUC. No motor (outboard or trolley) was even on the boat. Must have been the wheels bearings off some fighter plane that made it an issue.......

what size door in shed for a deuce

Ok, I've got to ask since you left it hanging out there

Anybody mount a snow plow on their deuce?

Or burn it up. Remeber that electronics that are rated for one voltage do not do well when you double that voltage......it lets the smoke out....once

truck end of the trailer brake glad hands-standar or special?

If you have the red connector on the "Service" side that is incorrect (per the standard). Red is "EMERGENCY" always and the yellow (or blue) is for "SERVICE". Now for you're own private truck that may be fine, but if you have to get the thing inspected by the DOT you will get smacked as it is...

    Cold startig

I thought the military switch was set between 30 - 40 degrees for the interrupt. Typically a diesel (designed w/out glowplugs in this case) should not require either to start it at 50 degrees. Will it start easier if you give it some throttle at startup? Mine starts fine if I give it so I can...

EUC turn arounds do get faster

It also depends on the work load that GL has at the moment; # of sales and # of items on each sale that require the EUC (nation wide keep in mind). Once that log jam gets through GL it still has to get through BC, which gets nailed with the same workload that just came through GL.

Johnfrombeyond, wasn't meant to say that you were; actually wasn't aimed at you at all. Was more meant for the guys who will be bidding on upcoming events that want previews.

Make sure you PM divemaster so that the whole "collusion" issue doesn't come up.

    Battery Safety

I started doing the glove trick after I welded my 1/2" wrench to the turret basket on a M60A3 when installing batteries.......6 batteries makes one heck of a weld by the way. Was tightening down the post clamp in one of the tight corners caused by the turret basket and the wrench slipped; the...

Miles per gallon T-case or transmission

Take the tarp/bows off, that will help your MPG as you're not pushing such a big brick through the air.

Does anyone have pics of how to flip the rear hubs on a deuce?

Do a search for that topic, I've downloaded a very well put together procedure off an existing thread several month ago.

    Battery Safety

When installing/removing batteries (which I do more often than I would like) at the museum I always wear gloves and keep my hands w/ gloves between the box end wrenches and anything metal that the wrench could short to. Also do this when I'm removing the series cable that goes b/t the two...

    what is this tank ?

Just for clarification that is an M60A3. You can tell because the turret has the mounts for the smoke grenade launchers on it. The M60 nor the M60A1 had the smoke grenade mounts. The M60A2 turret didn't look anything like the rest of the M60 series.

    M4A1 found in Manila Bay

From what we've heard out under one of the hangers at MSP they buried some tanks (Stuarts if I remember correctly) after WWII. Don't think those will be recovered anytime soon, unfortunately.

    Deuce at Camp Dodge

Just keep in mind guys that they have tightened up quite a bit there at Camp Dodge in terms of letting people around the trucks that are not theirs due to some thefts. You may or may not be allowed to do a preview of someone else's truck, depends on how Sgt. Birkenholtz's day has been going.
