No worries, I actually have a complete hydraulic dump bed assemble that I built with a sub frame similar to what the 817's have and decided not to install it. I know it is a little vain but the bottom of the cab and bed are soo close in height that if I add another 8" in sub frame I think it...
great idea, I posted that about half way down on page 2. I am going to get some pipe to go around the pin and box in some hinges and weld a u bolt to the front of the bed to manually dump.;)
Almost forgot, I am a home based business in Spokane valley, I usually have between two and five trucks at any given point to be built or bobbed. Thank god my neighbors are kosher. You can call me anytime and come see my toys and what I do. 509-270-1998 You are gonna die when you see what I...
You know honestly I don't even know what I am doing next week let alone summer. I usually do not participate in those types of evens because they are all Seattle based and to drive around at 6mpg to show it off is typically not a good business decision unless I am headed over there for parts or...
not quite, they are about 4" short so I have a couple 8x8 chunks that I throw under them, It will even be worse when the 16.00 20's go under it but that is life.
no worries, yeah I would have liked to have taken more time to do things like sleep or smell the roses or sleep but I told my 4 yr old I would be back in time to take him to disney on ice, we made it back with plenty of time.:driver:
Oh...and I'm no expert on this, but I'm pretty sure the lower numbers for the buttons give it more fuel....
Soni is correct, the smaller the # the more fuel.
I am going to paint the whole thing tan, I was going to buy some commercial paint and do a semi gloss to make cleanup easier but I might just go flat again, I don't know yet. The pole barn is 1400 sq ft with 16' eaves with vaulted truss's so I can use the crane inside if I need to.
you know, my neighbors are surprisingly supportive, that is until one of them tries to sell there home so that is why I am putting the pole bldg up so I can do whatever whenever I want. I only live on 1/3 acre so I have to be smart with what space I have, luckily my father lives 1 block from me...
If we can time a pickup from ft lewis around the same time I would love to, she is a thirsty girl and to go over there to show her off would be costly if only for that reason.
It is  I took the angle that mounts the winch to the frame and moved it to fill in the gap between where the winch was and the 5th wheel plate was. I am in the process of building some hinges that will use the bar that held the roller on the end for dumping. Instead of adding a dump ram...
I do like it, it is still pretty cold here and the valves are a little sticky till the tranny warms up, once it does its a very smooth tranny, most hard shifts are a timing issue, operator error.
Well I purchased this truck in the beginning of summer and through GL F ups I was able to pick it up about a month ago. Thanks again to Soni, and Ross for your help in trouble shooting and fixing problems when I picked it up, I would have been screwed without you. My road trip started out at a...
