    Sway bar help needed

    PB blaster is the best. Just very pricey Soak the bolt everywhere and let it sit. Repeat in an hour Try the bolt again Remember time is your friend keep soaking it if it wont budge

    I am having the same problem My truck has new tie rods, steering box and tires. Are there any more signs that will point to whether it is the u joint that is bad or a center pin on the leaf spring? Tomorrow i'll check out the u joint and reinspect the front end... again

    Man would i love to see a m1008 in the back of a 5 ton! Loading that would be interesting. I can come up with spares for a flat tow. I dont have a tow bar though My tires just shipped for my truck so i might be able to flat tow it, Anybody have tow bar i could borrow/rent

    Replaced inner tie rods with Moog Found out that they were not the source of slop in the steering, time for a new steering box Pulled the trans and tcase out of my donor truck ready to rebuild them next

    Bought a 85 chevy 1/2 ton for parts Stripping the sm465 and np205 for my 1008 Hopefully have a rebuilt trans/transfer case with twin sticks installed in the next couple months....

    Couple weeks ago did new kingpin springs and bushings Yesterday replaced tie rods with new Moog Did rear shocks with Rancho RS5000, fronts did not come with correct spacers And a new steering stabilizer Truck drives much better now, the steering wheel is much firmer and no death wobble...

    Try searching Death Wobble I believe your kingpin springs and bushings need to be replaced. I have seen the kit on ORD's website

    I would check the TM for oil change spec. It might be 7 quarts but not sure. I used Rotella 15w40 on my first oil change

    Bought a M1008 today Came from an airport in Beverly MA Drove it home 30 Miles with no problems. Tomorrow it will get new batteries(dead) and all the fluids will be changed. New glowplugs will follow and the the starter relay. missing anything major?
