    Im not sure of the fix, but i will warn you that that much cranking can damage your starter Look for leaks in any of the rubber lines Will fuel come out of the fuel filter bleeder after the truck dies?

    My driveshaft does not spin back like you are saying, with rear wheels off the ground what happens? I would guess your rear end is messed up? Have you pulled the rear diff cover yet?

    They are aluminum and iron, and since i dont have one in my yard i would say that they arent common. There are several posts here about members scrapping the bodies, what a shame I would love to get one for my truck, or trade truck for m1031 lol

    M1008 Maine to Massachusetts

    Update i just mounted new tires on the truck, Need to fix a few things before its road ready. I could really use an equipment trailer or large car trailer if anyone has one they would rent out. Willing to pay obviously and help work on trucks for exchange.

    Grade 8 bolts are not strong enough for the starter Are you using the ac delco starter bolts? They are special Part number is all over this site
