I would do that.........if I had a 2nd M1008 otherwise no way would I give up the bed space.
That looks sharp though, what are you doing with the inside of the shelter?
I still see netting for sale from time to time. They had low tech radar scattering rings attached, but with today's...
Dang GR you were in rare form last night........brutal
Now I'm just waiting on somebody to say yes they did ride the short bus, and that their favorite flavor of window is cherry.
I still live in government housing on base so I don't have the ability to work on mine yet. I planned to either turn it in for somebody to rebuild before I deploy again or just hang on to it and rebuild it myself when I retire and move back home.
I sold one engine and the M54 trans to a friend so I pretty much broke even. There are some parts that have to be swapped out such as the exhaust manifolds. There is plenty of information just use the search feature.
Don't worry about Gimpy he means well and is generally not like that...
Just to clear up my post some, I previewed and knew exactly what I was getting I bought two 6.5L engines in cans and a M54 trans for the minimum bid. I figured it was a good deal and I can drop the 6.5L in a cucv with a bit of extra work. I just did not want to be lumped into the "you guys"...

"The multifuel engine is a very interesting contraption. It was originally designed by the famous diesel engine company MAN as the MAN Hypercycle Engine, also known as the Whisper Diesel. MAN engineers were attempting to design a compression-ignition (C-I) engine that...
A cucv is not a multi-fuel engine
Quoted from Westech:
"well the 6.2 is not a "multi fuel". You can not run gas or like type of light fuel. It will just blow up. But fuel oil, motor oil, ect are a heavy fuel and react close to the same on a compression ignition engine."
I recommend you...
