Hi, Welcome from Kansas.
I grew up in Rapid and was just there on vacation 2 weeks ago. Stayed in Custer with my folks but went up to Rapid. There are a few members around the Hills. I dont know if any have an M35a3. I know of one guy in Custer that I know has a2's and he mentioned once of...
There are days when I really would have talked to the USAF recruiter about what jobs were available to me rather than letting him talk me into what my ASVAB score said I should do.
I think "gunner" would have been alot more exciting than radio maint.
I think he's talking about the SEE's loader on front, backhoe on the back.
Theres quite a few threads about them. The general consensious (sp?) is that they are cool looking but suck as an actual dirt working machine. That is if you plan on driving it from jobsite to jobsite
:ditto: Get a fence and a chained gate. IIRC they can not cut the chain and enter your property to tow your stuff away. (not without a warrant and Law Enforcement standing there anyways) So Joe-blow tow co. cant just pull in and haul your stuff away with just a call from the city.

Like other have said, make sure YOU are legal in having your stuff parked there. If so get some security on them ASAP,then persue the "they use other peoples names to make complaints" and if you have proof of that, file harassment charges. Just make sure anything you do is on the up-and-up.
Theres a guy in Randolph KS that deals in M37's he may have some parts. I'll look for his business card in the am and report back.

Lot of guys that get them from GL auctions all over the country. Just because you see one local to you and the seller says he got it at an auction doesnt mean he got it from a local auction.
Edit: deuces straight out of surplus are getting short in supply. The prices are only going to go up
When the newbie looses his attitude towards the senior members.
Nobody here can tell you what YOU want. You know the differences and obviously have the money, go search someout and drive the 2.
While I can understand and respect your right to have that view on this, think of it this way. Our country is in turmoil right now because some people will just not let go of what happened in the past. (Slavery) Even those born just 20 years ago are brought up to believe that what was done in...
