Granted every truck is slightly different, but I have no issues cruising at 60-65 on the highway. My M1008 is my daily ride and I have had no issues for the past 12 months.

Just throwing in my two cents as well, You hit the nail on the head when you said " you never know what you're getting from GL" Not all stories are horror stories. My M1008 purchase from GL has been great, all I have had to do was fix a radiator overflow nipple and change the oil and I have...
Tomorrow morning is our maintenance day to PMCS all of our vehicles, so we will conduct a 0900 sound-off of our horns here at FT Lewis to coincide with Papabears wreckers in Columbus, GA
We joked about taking a privately owned Deuce to the unit ball, we were going to have a big ice chest "fully stocked" in the troop area. The only reason we did not execute was that I had just arrived at the unit and did not know the owner that well back then. That and our wives would have stung...
The cucv TM's are on the 8th or 9th page. Click the resouces tab then click TM's. Although you won't a "how to guide" on converting to 12V anywhere in there. You could reference the wiring diagrams to clue you in about what is 24V.

I'm not a MOD but I think this SNAFU would warrant an exception to the "dont...
I may be able to help, I will look around some....no promises though.
Keep in mind that 4 of the 6 brackets look like a Z shape (like shown on pic 3 post #7) with the stud pointing downward, and the remaining two have a stud that points inward (pic 5).
I pulled my seats from a truck at a...
Oh and yes the whole metal bar should resemble a "C-channel" The L-shaped bracket is the part that attaches the C-channel/troop seats to the truck.

They just barely rest on the lip of the truck bed. If you were standing on the truck bed and looking down you would see the three slots on the sidewalls of the truck bed (6 total) There is a "L" bracket that goes into the slot, it has a male stud on one end that pushes through onto the rails of...
Ok I thought I still had a MSG with attached pics in my sent file but I guess I deleted already. I do have pics I can send but it will be awhile as I'm still at work.
