If your friend can't help you, then head out to RTB area (like where the stalking lanes are) Just after you normally turn left to go to the LZ there is a motor pool (Reserve Engineer unit) on the corner, they may also have some keys since they still have a few cucv's in their fleet.
Dale
Hey Ranger,
All cucv keys should be the same, get with your friend that bought my old M1009 and go to Lowes or anywhere else that makes keys and you should be GTG.
Dale
Hmmm I like the 3-color camo too, but having served in Desert Storm as well as the current OIF rotations I am kinda partial to Tan CARC too.
Congratulations on the win though looks nice!
Dale
Talk with USMC Deuce CPL he bought a deuce from Redstone and drove it up here to WA:

That was my welcome home gift from myself when I returned from Iraq last rotation it is a 2008 Harley Davidson Night-Rod (part of the V-Rod family)
It has a 1250cc engine (liquid cooled) :-D
Yes it is possible, it all depends on the type of unit. Mine is in great shape but I'm at like 86k now. I know some vehicles that were rolled over to zero during Desert Shield/ Storm.
Welcome to Steel Soldiers!
I have owned both a M1009 and M1008, it is true the M1008 is geared lower, but I drive mine everyday to and from work as well as a recent trip to our training area a couple hundred miles away and I cruise at 60-65 without any problem. I have hit 70 briefly to pass...
This is a touchy subject to say the least. I have discussed some things with 101coolcars and I think he is on the up and up. He has stated that he is selling them for closer to 4k which is fair. People on this site tend to look out for each other and it looked like he was selling them for...
Also what else is on that circuit breaker? For example my carport is right outside my kitchen so the plug for the carport is on the same breaker as some of the kitchen plugs so if I had a 1000w block heater going as well as the coffee pot and say the toaster then well yeah the breaker is going...
FYI for those of you using debit cards some banks have daily limits on the max allowed to be charged. You have to call your bank to have them adjust the limit and have GL re-run the charge.......I was lucky and caught the error on the same day and had GL run the card again.
Terry,
I like your business concept, in fact I often thought about doing something similar once I retire from the military. I have a few suggestions I will send to you by PM but one I will mention here is to remove the 7k+ prices on the sold vehicles especially if your selling them for...
Really?
Check your website/link where it list vehicles sold:
Super nice condition M1009 from the Missouri National guard, this base really kept up on their units, 6.2 GM diesel, nice interior, no rust ever, still shows its original CARC Camo paint job and NG markings...
