It looks like it's just pressed in the tube, hence the o-ring for a seal. That would be tough to fix. The weld...tig or braze, would be where the seal washer sits. Maybe drill it, use a roll pin then tig it.
Nice set up PWM! I borrowed the blue hyd. cylinder from work to see if it worked. It was perfect. Got another one from HF, installed it, then realized that the top of the thing was taller than the bow corner!!! What a dufus. aua Oh well, my dad is a TV repairman, he's got an awsome set...
Re: RE: spellCheck problems
And what would that be?? I have noticed the same thing about the after check lock up. Any ideas?
I got a message saying I was trying to edit or modify a thing I didn't have permission to do
i got a hoist less the ram at ITC a long time back. Finally got it mounted. Needs a bit more support side to side. It picked up 200# or so w/o wobbling or bending anything. Bout time, tires are heavy!
Ditto on littlebobs post. Or you could get a set of magnetic lights and zip tie them in an inconspicuous spot and run it like that and still have the 24 vdc stuff
Cool! The Museum down the road has the Q50 gun deck from the USS Missouri. A guy at work was on the Mo in the 1st gulf war. He was on the ship when the deck was removed and the missiles were put in it. Took him there and he told me all kinds of stories. He has cool vids of equator crossings.
We have one at work that we put an air compressor and made a push bar for it. We use it to air up and push dead vehicles up to the shop. It's 8 feet long and 4 1/2 feet wide and weighs 7000 lbs!
RE: Re: RE: Multifuel Engines
Aint free dieselgas great??!! I get the same thing from my place of employment thanks to FedEx, USF and Ryder! A bit of gas in with diesel works great.
Lots of heat and pressure in the engine. The by- product of all that has to go somewhere or every seal in the engine will be leaking oil. If you exthed it a bit you'll keep the oil and stuff off of the starter and frame.
That's why you should use a tapered reamer. Drill a pilot hole, 3/16, 1/4 in. then ream it using a bit of cutting tool oil. I'll post a pic tomorrow of the stuff I use at work..
