    Very True! this is how my top and rear plate came to be replaced with home made ones ;-) I have no clue how I have not taken the radiator out yet with my winch....

    They will fit, but only in 'single' format. There is no way you cold run 'duals' on the rear axles.

    Mike, any idea how many miles are on the engine (IP)? It might be worth just getting it rebuilt. They suggest doing it every 100k or so. I think that alot of CUCV IP's are due for replacement just because of age.

    Just go to your local auto parts, and get one for an 84ish K5 blazer with the 6.2 diesel in it. I think all the blazers with diesels had the 700r4

    Yes, you will need a new flex plate. The bolt pattern diameter is different. I found out the hard way!!!

    No, the MEP-016e is the single cylinder diesel setup. uses a whole different framework.

    Deuce spitting coolant, but why?

    Be warned..... this is the symptom that mine showed before the radiator got really bad!!! I had a leak in the top seam. You couldnt really see it leaking unless it was REALLY hot, as the coolant would evaporate by the time you got to check it out.
