Glad you found the problem!! You might be replacing lights for a while ;-) I think thats about the only thing that would have really suffered.

The only thing that is 24v is the circuit feeding the glow plug relay, and the starter.

Well... I would be more inclined to figure out why you have 24v on that pink wire. You should NOT be.

I have this problem on my deuce as well. Although mine coincides with a switch change. I went from a switch that would hardly ever turn the lights on.... to one that doesnt like to turn them off. go figure!

See the other no-start thread... can about 90% say that your issue is a glow plug issue.....

Oh yeah.... if the controller is gone... it WONT start.

First of all, are you sure there is a problem with the original glow plug wiring? If it aint broke, dont fix it. Also... The majority of CUCV no-start conditions are due to failed glow plugs. Make sure they work before you do anything. Dont trust your super-nova test light. Get a volt...
