Priming a dry Cummins PT IP

I am not sure on what A and B are but have you checked the transfer switch by the drivers seat to see if that is where you are sucking air in at? Check the fuel line hoses for cracks and I bet that is where you are losing prime.

    Price on 4 outriggers?

Heres another thought, instead of trying to find some manual outriggers, why not spend the money and put in some hydraulic ones? Bjorn (Cranetruck) has some on the front of his truck. I think a 24v pump and tank underneath the passenger seat and some lines and rams - PRESTO!

    Air lock rear

Yep what he said, the only way to tell if an axle has an ARB is the air line going to the diff.

    M35A2 Transport vs. Drive

You should be able to find shipping quotes for way less than that especially on the east coast. I paid less than $1500 to get my M816 shipped over 750 miles, and that was out west where it always seems to cost more. I say ship it and not get into the worry or hassle of "what if it breaks...

    bad customer service

Yes GL customer service sucks but who else sells surplus gov trucks? GSA but they are well used by the time they let them go. As far as the fax goes, I think it goes into a computer instead of an actual piece of paper so that is why they cant look at it. ( I am just guessing here).

    FREE WMO in VA

Hey Daniel, You know you can burn that in the Cummins with no problems. Just filter it and use a small ratio, might help on the fuel bill.

I would gladly give you $4500 for it, if I had the money. I think that is a fair price.

    side by side size comparisons

Same here, my M816 "thinks" it is the "man of the yard". Put one of those GOER's next to it and it would be crying like a little dog!:-D

My M818 recovery MCLB Barstow (AKA the surface of the sun)

Good luck on your new truck. Did you check the manual fuel cut off under the hood to see if it was reset? That could be why it did not start.

I will throw in my .02 cents, Berg Tire is a very good vendor to deal with. I got 6 9.00 x 20's shipped to California and there were in very good shape.
