Not really hind sight but I will tell you from experience that all that stuff in the TMs that's not quite so clear, will be absolutely clear when you are sitting in the truck. You will be so thankful you read them when it's time to own one. My best thought is don't try to make it something it's...
I found this pic on the web a while back whilst searching for the 255 tires. I had them on a K30 dually back in the 80s. The fit without lift or fender nipping.
That's great. The M1061A1 I just snagged came from a Sheriff's Office. They've had it since 98 and it's never left the property. In reference to pulling power with the 700R4, unless there are mechanical issues with the tranny, it should only help in pulling. The 3.06 first gear is a true...
You can draw off of it but not gravity feed. You could probably get a siphon going too it you worked at it. Pretty sure it was used to fire the fuel fired engine heaters in the arctic kits. Makes a great emergency line to draw fuel if your other line develops a leak.
Axle wrap from blocks has always been an issue. Not as much on a 1 ton with heavy springs. Either way has been done in the past with great success. What are the tasks your truck will primarily be used for? This dictates alot of how you should go. Shackle flips seem simple and effective and...
Chris, Bobby Bell may have one or more. I got a brand new one from him last year.
Drew, my question was hypothetical in nature. We can go back and delete it if you think it's best. I will not be involved in any firearm sales or related issues.
I may bring some plinking wares to take down to the range. Here's a hypothetical question. Can FL resident Oddball sell FL resident Recovry4x4 a firearm whilst in the fine state of GA?
TM 9-2320-289-20P. Figure 46 Item 2. Switch, cold advance. 14071047. Even the Tms have a search box, took me a minute to find it by searching the word "temperature".
I would think the M416 would struggle with a half cord if it even phyisically fit. As Gimpy pointed out, that multifuel he toted tips the scales just over 3000# in the can. Not bad for a trailer rated 3/4 ton (or mabe had the 1 ton upgrade).
Might try Saturn Surplus. Those are powered by the 4A032 mil standard engines and saturn used to have boatloads of parts. NOS 4A032 enignes are still out there!
