I read on here somewhere that its best not to grease or oil the cable in a dry dusty area since it will just collect the particles on the cable and mess it up. Just inspect and clean all the gunk off as best as you can.
From the Tacom manual:
Length 30 feet height 11feet width 8 feet
brakes are the regular air over hydraulic, only need to release the hand brake to roll it.
Send it to New Mexico :D

Its funny you mention Jacks, he is the one that gave me the quote for the M246A2 I started this thread about.

M1075 - Yea, I have been tossing that idea around also, maybe both kinds of trucks!!?! If only money grew on tress.
No.2Diesel - I was trying to walk to the fine line between function and look by staying with the military trucks that are available to me. I like that idea though. I was not...

Good luck.
Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate some info from someone who has been there and done that.
One reason I felt that this might work is that there is ALOT of oil field work around here and the roads are pretty bad in the winter time so I know there is some demand for off-road recovery in that...

I have had both good and bad luck with using that site. All I can say is - do your homework on the shipper you chose to go with. Verify their credentials before anything else and DO NOT go by the feedback rating on there!!

I was...
If you search on here and the internet, there are alot of ideas on how to properly filter the used motor oil before using it.
I am planning on doing this in the near future and I am going to use a small centrifuge to clean the oil first. I have read that most people only use the motor oil in...
barstow
For everyone who is thinking about getting something at Barstow:
There is another person who works there, I can't think of his name right now but he helps Dave out. When my truck driver was trying to schedule a pickup for my M54A2, he got the run around from Dave and finally got a...
