    Garwood 10K Lb. Winch ?

I read on here somewhere that its best not to grease or oil the cable in a dry dusty area since it will just collect the particles on the cable and mess it up. Just inspect and clean all the gunk off as best as you can.

    Would you pay $16,000 for a M246A2?

Kenny, Its funny you mention Jacks, he is the one that gave me the quote for the M246A2 I started this thread about. Maybe a MC-1(A2) or (A1) if I could find a Mack.

I agree, not make a living but at least justify and offset the costs of having the big green machines.

    Would you pay $16,000 for a M246A2?

Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate some info from someone who has been there and done that. One reason I felt that this might work is that there is ALOT of oil field work around here and the roads are pretty bad in the winter time so I know there is some demand for off-road recovery in that...

    Uship ???

Look at their profile and ask questions if they bid on your shipment. Ask for license # and insurance info. Once you accept a bid and get contact info, check out the address and phone number and if its a business check that out also. I had one guy who had over 100 positive rating and he...

    Uship ???

I have had both good and bad luck with using that site. All I can say is - do your homework on the shipper you chose to go with. Verify their credentials before anything else and DO NOT go by the feedback rating on there!!

    800 series hood/winch/hard top interest??

On my other threads, I posted that a local truck junk yard has a M816 body with no axles and a blown engine. Everything else seem to be there on the wrecker body and cab (no seats though). Front bumper is bent all to crap but the winch is there along with a decent hood and hardtop. I was...

Question about burning used Motor Oil as Fuel.

If you search on here and the internet, there are alot of ideas on how to properly filter the used motor oil before using it. I am planning on doing this in the near future and I am going to use a small centrifuge to clean the oil first. I have read that most people only use the motor oil in...
