    M1078 vx. Mitsubishi FUSO 4x4

I mean from watching M35A2s, M809s and M939s articulate and run over bumps and seeing how bad a M1078 is when you put something in the back that raises the center of gravity there is no comparison. The LMTV is not as stable IMHO. Just guessing but say you are going around a corner and it has a...

    M1078 vx. Mitsubishi FUSO 4x4

After watching an LMTV with the box on the back I think I would go with anything that wasn't so unstable. Yes, we had people at the GMVR this year that worked on them and basically said they roll too easy. Not necessarily all the way over but man, watching them go over a little dip in the road...

    Battery question for M-813 w/855

My XM813 batteries are getting weaker so I may be in the market for new ones. If I get new ones it will be two of them and they will be the NAPA Commercial with 1125 CCA each. I have used them in another Deuces and they work great.

    Website slow loading?

Just looking at our logs for the last 15 minutes: 1,191,818 total attempt at our network 138,575 attacks at Telnet (something that should never be used over the Internet) 6,429 attacks on SSH Mind you this is a slow day and that is only 15 minutes of people/bots with nothing better to do all...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Actually the next thing that will happen won't be moderation. Looking at a data plate it is called CUCV so please use that when describing the vehicle. Earlier this year I went through hundreds of thread titles correcting Deuce spelling because it ruins search and other member's ability to find...

    5 ton 12v 5.9 repower?

I don't think you see a lot of creative power plants in 5-tons because the original motor is more than adequate. The big thing you lose right off the bat is torque and depending on which 5.9 you lose HP as well.

    Dummy load bank

Yes, by all means get your ticket. Even though I got all three of mine in a month I have only used them at the GMVR last year and this year. The only person I talked to was patracy when I forced him to do a night ride in his HMMWV. :-)
