once you get used to the huge..... HUGE gap between third and fourth gear you will be fine. it's red line to idle with 1 shift.

no problems. yes with weight you will hear the rear spings shifting around. without the weight you don't hear it. make sure you also grease the rear spring pivot. it's under the conter spring mount where it attaches to the bogie. loosen the center cap when pumping grease.

818 all the way. I love the sound of a big cummins. parts can be had more easily and quickly imo.

there is no point in it. you can get dozens of other engines that weight a fraction of a multi and make double or triple the power and better fuel economy.

just buy a 900. the only really common part was the frame and even they were drilled to make the 900 parts fit.
