Trickle charger / maintainer
Why 3? I use 2, one on the back 2 batteries and one on the front two. Using 12 volt maintainers. Has been working great for 5 years now. The 24 volt maintainers are more expensive than 2ea 12 volt ones. -

If you uncouple does the power return? I doubt it. Time to plug in the Cat ET and see why you have restricted power. -
Gichner Shelter GSS-1497B operation quesiton on HMMWV
The J2 connector would appear to be for the 110 volt shore power cable. Finding that connector might be tricky, I would be tempted to replace it with a more common twistlock connector. -

Unbolted torque converter directly from USMC means they got started pulling the trans due to it being shot and then someone figured out it was eligible to go to excess so away it went. -

M172A1.....Legal???
I'll never forget, back in the day, one of these came up for Ft Hood DRMO live auction that was bowed in the middle a lot. Auctioneer told us "yeah that's what happens when you load a 50 ton M60 tank on there" which apparently they routinely did at Hood. -
WTEC II help-- hesitant downshifting
Codes stay in memory. Everything points to throttle modulation not being communicated to the WTEC. -

Back in the 70s 80s this was a common swap. I do think all 4 positions are the same. I "vaguely" remember this being described as the "Ford 11" brake swap".- NDT

New Owner - Where to start?
Did you have them delete the hard top? If not you will need the GMV C pillar from HMMWVSUPPLY.com. Yours is a dead ringer for mine. Unfortunately the Bajas will need to be replaced, they show cracks in the tread. -

Not saying that. I am saying that they get weak after time and susceptible to failing, which is exasperated by increased voltage when 1 or more are burned out.
