Uparmoreds role south through here all the time, but this week when I started seeing the JLTVs I started thinking about it and haven't seen a load of HMMWVs in a few weeks now. Which is why I was thinking that maybe the JLTV went into production. I will keep my eyes open for both now.
I didn't think they were going to start replacing the HMMWV until 2012, but I saw 5 JLTVs on semis headed south this week. They starting to phase out the HMMWV early?
If anybody does not know what i am talking about here it is...
I have to respectfully disagree; while I have never driven a deuce with lockers all the way around I do drive a 6x6 concrete mixer that puts out almost 300 hp and it does not have enough power to turn all 6 in the mud when the air lockers are engaged, so I think lockers on a deuce would be a...
Well considering that EUCs are still being processed and trucks still being picked up I think the best thing for all of us to do is to sit back and let things roll. I am going to go on acting as if I did not even get that email from GL. When my EUC comes in I will schedule my pickup and go get...
Anything is possible but, DRMS explores all options for each truck prior to releasing them to GL for public sale.
NHDiesel's truck had a load card in the glove box that was dated 2005. It is very possible that that was the last service that truck saw and it sat with DRMS for 4 years before...
I think one of the things he was planning on doing this afternoon before he left was putting in an aftermarket heater.
I believe that all the Frankfort trucks were initially slated for FMS, but nobody wanted them, so maybe the same will happen to the ones at Ft knox. The sticker on the window...
NHDiesel's Knox truck is headed north
NHdiesel and I got his truck off of FT Knox today. We had a few minor glitches, but after about 1.5 hrs we had her running and drove her 30 miles to Louisville where he stopped at a friends house to work on a few things before making the trip back to New...
They give you 60 days from the time they submit the EUC to battle creek; if they do not receive an approval within 60 days they cancel the sale and refund your money. Usually it comes with a nice letter telling you not to bid on any Q or B items again.
I scheduled to pick up a truck belonging...
If your EUC is not approved yet it doesn't matter because they have stopped processing them, you are in the same boat I am, but if you have the EUC pickup should not be an issue.
I spoke with Jacatia (sp?) in Arizona today and she said the information they had is that if the EUC is clear, the...
I just spoke with GL in AZ and they said that if you have an approved EUC in hand you can pick up the truck. But that is subject to change if they are told otherwise.
The 14 day window still applies, Processing EUCs on said trucks has been put on hold until the inspections are done. They do...
I got two quotes today for lowboy service for a m35a2 only going 36 miles. One was $350.00 and the other was $486.00. That is just the haul, no loading or unloading fees or fuel surcharge. Towing is about a 100.00 higher because they have to remove the drive shafts.
Prices can very quite a...
FYI: I think that positive and negative posts about vendors are against the forum rules. Also I am pretty sure that this sort of thread by a vendor has to be approved by the webmaster before being listed.
