If you can see the brake shoes, Something let loose in the bearings. You will probably need bearings, Nuts, lock ring, spindle and posibly a hub to fix this corectly before you are done.

From what i have read (on here) the civi is not exactly the same as the mil spec. Ie, dual pto ports. I will do some looking to see where the info was

If it has the 5.9 diesel 10 bolt will pop. Dont waste your time. do it right and put a 3.07 dana 70 in it.

Saw a c60 4x4 in a scrap yard this summer w/ what looked just like a 3053 (definatly a spicer) in it w/ pto's hanging off of both sides. It was a late 60's early 70's truck set up like a pole setter. I would have nabbed the trans & pto's but it was stupid hot and i had alreddy been there for 3 hrs.

1031 pto is real close, but I think the gear pitch is a hair off. Cost more anyway.

I would just biuld new torque rods. Shouldnt be that hard to fab something better than the stock cast steel.

How the **** is it the lift point/ tie down shackle is biult like that and the landing leg is, well, yeah. [thumbzup] on the repair.

Dumb question, but looking at the pics.....My rear hubs are flipped ones pictured are not.. I assume front rotors would be needed on the rear then? How close would they get me to being correct?
