Probably only for shows. We plan on having more at my budies place. Last one got a lil wet, trying to be more prepared for the next one.
From what WM said, looks like i need to come up with a way to make 4 more friends...........
mirrors, & wheels (wheels are for somone else) Thats about it. Im puting a diesel & OD trans in my m37 so the engine & trans wouldnt do me any good even if they where uasable.
Yea, local here is 270, But its how he makes a living so it dosnt bother me much using him. Gotta remeber he sold me 2 m35 winches for $150.
Any thoughts on what i should offer?
LOL, he owns a scrap yard, this is what makes it hard to put a $ amount to it. He saved it from scrap because he must have thought there was value. <--- Problem.
FWIW his yard is paying $200/ton (2000lb)
Thankyou, that is exactly what i was looking for, He said there are a couple of small tears, I will check for rot. Thanks !
P.S. I dont think the price could get much better so i dont think i could get hurt on it. Wish me luck
buddy showed me what was out behind his dads place. His dad asked me what i would give him for it. What do you guys think? Obviously im not looking to make it run again but mabye parts? What should I offer, if anything?
Ok, Tomarrow i am going to look at a GP medium tent and need some advice. (needed a better tent at our first show this spring and if things go well we will have another this fall) .
The tent is dissasembled and I do not have intentions of setting it up before i buy.
My main question is how...
IMO, 12bolts are not worth the swap. I have never seen any proof they are stronger, Yea they have 12 bolts on the ring gear but there smaller bolts.....Parts are harder to find and more costly. If you want an upgrade, put a 6lug 9.5in 14bolt with a lockrite in it. MUCH stronger.
FWIW, that stuff isnt that heavy. 2 guys can carry the axle with out a prob. There is a guy on Got Mud that has done what you want to (but used a 2in ball) on his trailer and it turned out very nice. Seen it when i bought his axle & surge. I can try to locate some pics and info if you are...
